SELLER’S WORDS
The apartment is light and airy.
The living room has wonderful double-aspect windows looking, it is possible to split it into two to have a separate dining and reception room but we always enjoyed the space, the historic parquet floors and high ceilings. The space is perfect for entertaining, reading and we had many movie nights. We also considered adding some window benches to sit & look out onto the Waalstraat.
The master bedroom gets lovely light in the morning and has plenty of storage space. With working from home now more common we used the 2nd bedroom as a study and extra storage space.
The kitchen is charming and could be modernised, perhaps with the addition of a breakfast bar to enjoy morning coffee. We loved cooking and found the open plan shelves useful to display our collection of crockery.
The location is in easy reach of the Rai and Amstel Stations, Tram 4 is a minute’s walk away going from and to the RAI and Centraal Station. The airport is a 20 minute ride away, Amsterdam Bos & Ouderkerk are in cycling distance, the Mirandabad is at the end of the road. For shopping, Maastraat with it’s many specialist shops is within easy reach. We’ve been happy custodians of this apartment and look forward to passing it on to new owners.
