It is a short walk to the Schinkelbos via country lanes with a windmill and conservation areas leading to the Amsterdamse Bos (less than 10 minutes by bike). The house is a short cycling distance from the center of Aalsmeer with several large supermarkets and specialty shops. There are numerous schools in the vicinity (including primary school De Brug and kindergarten Villa Kakelbont). There are also options nearby to have a nice bite to eat or to enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
 
The Oosteinderweg has a diversity of houses, water and bridges. Nearby are the shopping center Poldermeesterplein, and Westwijk shopping center, Stadshart Amstelveen and Aalsmeer Center. You will also find nice eateries in the immediate vicinity such as; Silversant, Brasserie David, De Jonge Dikkert, Eetcafé Colijn and Centennial.
 
Schiphol Airport can be reached within approximately 15 minutes by car and within 20 minutes you can reach the International Schools in Amstelveen and Amsterdam. There are also excellent connections by car to the A9, A4 and A2.
 
The house is also located a couple minutes from the bus with direct connections to Amsterdam Arena via bus station Amstelveen. The tram at Westwijk with a direct connection to WTC via Amstelveen is a few minutes by bike.
